Hey there! :D

When we think of gothic, we think dark. Evil. Sinister.

The only aesthetic that goes along with this idea is "B" terror.

Terror corresponds with evil and sinister.

I hope this helps!

A typical aesthetic impact of a piece of gothic writing is B. terror. Fear and horror were provoked by gloomy settings as haunted castles and other mysterious places. Romantic elements, supernatural beings and heroes are present in gothic writing.
