1. Regroup the 10 whole to be able to subtract with common denominators.

10 = 9 7/7

or

2. Make 10 whole into an improper fraction with a denominator of 7.

10 = 10/1 = 70/7
-3 2/7 = 23/7 = -23/7

47/7 = 6 5/7
