Ok so right off the bat you can see that A starts off with talking about how our government is affected rather than B starts off with how the Cherokee's are being affected. A talks about how the government is doing a good thing and how they don't see what they did to hurt the Native tribes by buying their land and putting them in a safer more smaller area to live. When B talks about how the government came in forcefully and took their land from them in a way that hurt the Natives and how the natives can't trust the Government anymore. The historical evidence to back up Passage A would be that the Government did buy the Natives land, but the government did give the Natives a safe place to live after they took the land from them. Historical evidence to back up passage B is that yah the sad truth is that the government did, in fact, screw the Natives over in the deal to buy their land and give them a safer place to stay. really the Government sent a group of merc soldiers to get rid of the Natives so the government wouldn't have to pay to build them a special place to live after they bought the land from the Natives. Millions of Natives were slaughtered and the hundreds remaining after that were bound to never trust the government again after what they did to them.
