In the coordinate plane shown, how far apart are the points e and d? Explain how you can use the Pytagorean theroem to determine this

Ok,so
First mark points E, and D on the coordinate plane.
make sure to read the first number on the X axis, and the second number on the Y axis. So you get the right coordinates.
Now, move your finger on the lines, count as you go.
