From vertical angles, we know that the angle directly opposite from the 50 degrees is equal to 50 degrees.
55+50=105
x and 105 and supplementary angles because they are corresponding angles.
x+105=180
x=75

75 degrees

In order for l and m to be parallel, x° must be the supplement to the sum of 50° and 55°.

x° = 180° -50° -55°
x° = 75°

The 1st choice is appropriate.
