you would have to multiply it 299.99 ( .06) then youll get your answer . you have to change the percentage into a decimal. hope it helps

To find the total cost including the tax rate, we multiply by:

1 + (tax)/(100)
So in this case we have to multiply by

1 + (6)/(100) = 1.06
Therefore the price including tax is

299.99 * 1.06 = 317.99
Hence, $317.99
