1) Find the surface area of the 4 triangles

To find it we can use the area of triangle formula to find one of the triangle and multiply it by 4.

6*6/2 = 36/2 = 18

Then multiply 4

18 * 4 = 72 in^2

2) Next find the surface area of the square.

B * H
6 * 6 = 36

3) Add the 4 triangle sides and the square together to find the surface area.

36 + 72 = 108 in^2

The answer is 108 in^2
