The client is in the stage of preparation for action. In this stage the client accept that there is a need to change, acknowledgement and accept that there is a problem. This occurs when the client ask or seek for help in order to address problems. Preparation for action is the third stage of the five stages of behavioral change; the first is pre contemplation second, contemplation, third, preparing for action fourth, action, fifth, maintenance.
