Slope = (-5-1)/(7+1) = -6/8 = -3/4
Perpendicular slope = 4/3

Midpoint = ((-1+7)/2 , (1+(-5))/2) = (3, 3)

equation:
y = mx + c
y = 4/3 x + c

at point (3, 3)
3 = 4/3(3) + c
c = 3 - 4 = -1

y = 4/3 x - 1 or 3y = 4x - 3
