Paleo-Indians are the ancient peoples of the Americas. They are believed to have migrated from the Asia land mass, moving from the Alaskan peninsula south through the Americas. Archaeological sites have produced the bones of large animals suggesting the ancient people were hunters and the path of the campsites shows the tribes were nomadic. Stone tools were also found at the campsites showing the Paleo-Indians to have had tools aiding in their hunting.
