Im thinking the answer is D. Dangerous. Because he says, "The spaceship metaphor can be dangerous when used by misguided idealists to justify..."

The word the author uses to show the inaccuracy of the spaceship metaphor is D. Dangerous.

The author chooses to use the word dangerous because it has a very negative connotation. By claiming that the spaceship metaphor can be dangerous, the writer is already influencing the reader negatively towards this idea. Furthermore, the words everyone and equal have a neutral connotation, while the word enthusiastic has a positive connotation.
