-2x + 6y = 12
rewrite to y = mx + b
m is slope and b is y-intercept
-2x + 6y = 12
add 2x to both sides
6y = 2x + 12
divide both sides by 6
y = 1/3x + 2
Slope, rise 1 over 3
y-intercept at (0, 2)
