Volume
= Length x Base x Height
Volume = 3.5 x 6 x 3 =
63 ft^3
Surface Area
(if we're talking about a closed box and only talking about the outside area) = ∑Areas of the sides
Surface Area = 3.5 x 6 + 3.5 x 6 + 6 x 3 + 6 x 3 + 3.5 x 3 + 3.5 x 3 =
99 ft^2
