I chose the career path of becoming a postal service worker. The reasoning behind why this is the best career path for me is I will have a full time position, where I will make an average of $24.59 an hour and $51,150 per year. This is in the amount of money I wish to earn each year. Generous annual vacation and sick leave is allowed to postal workers. 13 days of annual leave per year for the first 3 years, increasing to 20 days per year after 3 years of service, and to 26 days per year after 15 years of service. The Postal Service also participate in the federal retirement program, in return employees may get a pension. They have excellent benefits, basic life insurance, and pretax health benefits with most of the cost paid by the Post Service.
