To answer this, you would represent this as 5000x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2. By writing this expression, you are representing the doubling for every year. The easiest way to show this would be to use exponents though. Two multiplied by itself 10 times is the same thing as saying two to the 10th power. So 5000 x 2^10. This is the answer, I think choice B was meant to say that.
