How does the internal circuitry differ among the ohmmeter, voltmeter, and ammeter?

An ohmmeter measures electrical resistance. the resistance to be measured may be connected to the instrument in parallel or in series and current is expressed in ohms. the instrument will draw more current if it is connected in parallel as the resistance will increase.

While Voltmeter measures the electrical potential difference. A voltmeter is connected in parallel with a device to measure its voltage and voltage expressed in voltage.

Ammeter, on the other hand, measures electric current and is expressed in amperes. This should not be connected directly across a voltage source because the access flow of current will there due to low internal resistance.
