What is the b in 8b=5.6

b = .7

Explanation: Since we are doing multiplication (8 * b) we would now do the inverse operation which is dividing. First, it's 5.6 divided by itself so we can cross that out, then 8 divided by 5.6 = .7

If we put 8 * .7 in a calculator, sure enough, it comes out as 5.6
