When you take the cube root of a positive or negative integer, how many possible answers are there?

When u take the cubic root of 8 the answer will be 2. which means in this case, you have only one possible answer. However, taking in account the following example.


x^3=8

\sqrt[3]{x^3} =\sqrt[3][8]

x_(1) =2, x_(2)=2, and x_(3)=2
which means there are 3 answers for x but all lies at the same point.
