Remember: PEMDAS
P arenthesis
E xponents
M ultiplication (left to right)
D ivision (left to right)
A ddition (left to right)
S ubtraction (left to right)


h + j(j - h) Substitution
2 + 6(6 - 2) Parenthesis
2 + 6(4) Multiplication
2 + 24 Addition

First plug in all the numbers: 2+6 (6-2)
Then do the stuff in the parentheses: 6-2=4
All you have left to do is 2+6+4=12
