Hey there!
To solve this you divide 10 1/2 by 3:
10 1/2 = 21/2
3 = 3/1
21 x 1 = 21
2 x 3 = 6
21/6 is the answer, but when we simplify it we get
3 1/2 as our final answer.
Each shelf will be 3 1/2 feet long.
Hope this helps you.
Have a great day!
