-4x + 12 = -6x

uh- this is the correct way to answer the problem....

−4x+12=−6x

Step 1: Add 6x to both sides.

−4x+12+6x=−6x+6x

2x+12=0

Step 2: Subtract 12 from both sides.

2x+12−12=0−12

2x=−12

Step 3: Divide both sides by 2.


(2x)/(2) =
(-12)/(2)

x=−6
