How do you graph y = 2x + 5

The equation has a slope of 2 with a y intercept of 5

So the form of an equation is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. So in this case, m=2 and b=5. So you would start by graphing the point (0,5) on the graph. Then go up two over one and plot that point, and continue on until you have a line.
