Which best explains whether a triangle with side lengths 5 cm, 13 cm, and 12 cm, is a right triangle?

Answer:

Let first side= 5 cm

second side= 12 cm

third side = 13 cm

To prove this triangle to be right angle triangle, we need to prove Pythagoras Theorem


5^(2)=25


12^(2)=144


13^(2)=169

169= 25+144

169=169

According to Pythagoras theorem ,

b^(2)=
h^(2)

since, it follows Pythagoras theorem,

Hence, it is a Right angle Triangle
