A baseball player got 102 hits in the last 300 times at bat. Explain how you would find the percent of times the baseball player got a hit out of the number of times at bat.

I'm guessing your trying to figure out your batting percentage so your going to divide 102 by 300 so 102/300 and then your average will come out to .340 (34%) which is a great batting percentage.

Divide the number of hits by at bats so 102/300 = 0.34 then multiply that by 100 for the percent 0.34 *100 = 34%
