How do you find the complement and supplement of an angle?

HELP PLEASE! I need help ASAP

I'm doing this stuff right now your answer is To find the complementary angle,you subtract 90 by the first given complement angle. To find the supplementary angle,, you subtract 180 by the first given supplement angle.

The complement is 90 - a

The suplement is 180 -a

where a is the measure of the angle
