Which of these is not a way that large molecules, like glucose, can enter a cell?

a.diffusion through the cell membrane.
b.facilitated diffusion through protein channels in the cell membrane.
c.endocytosis, when the cell engulfs the particles with pseudopods.
d.active transport, when the cell pumps large molecules in through the membrane?

The a and c answers are the wrong ones. Endocytosis is used for particules and diffusion through the membrane is used for molecules that are solubile in fats(lipids).

Answer: Diffusion

Step-by-step explanation:

Diffusion can be defined as the movement of particles or substance which travels from a region of their higher concentration to an area where it has a low concentration.

It does not requires energy it is a passive process. It is used by smaller particles or gaseous particles.

It cannot be used for larger and heavier molecules like carbohydrates, fats and proteins as they are large and require energy for its transport.
