A person jogged 10 times along the perimeter of a rectangular field at the rate of 12 kilometers per hour for 30 minutes. if field has a length that is twice its width, find the area of the field in square meters. ________________________________________

12 km ...................1h
12:2=6 km..............30 min

6000 m :10=600 m (the perimeter)

600m= 2(l+w)=2(2w+w)=2*3w=6w
⇒ w=600:6
w=100m
l=2*100=200m
A=w*l=200*100=20.000 m^2
