Yeast has the most important percentage of adenine with 31.3%, comparing to human which has 30.9% and other species like Streptococcus, Herring, and E.coli.
Generally, the percentage of adenine and thymine are equal, because they are linked together in the DNA, and the guanine and cytosine percentage are equal too. So if we have the percentage of adenine in the DNA of a species, we can figure out the other percentages.
