so first make them inproper fractions
6 2/3 = 20/3
4 7/8 = 39/8
then you multiply them
20 * 39 = 780
3 * 8 = 24
12 can go into both numbers
780
÷ 12 = 65
24
÷ 2 = 2
the answer is 65/2 or if you want it simplified 32 1/2
