How do you write 4.5 with the same number of decimal places as 6.25

if you mean you want to have it go into the hundredths place (the second digit behind the period) you could just add a zero. the zero's dont change the number but help you incase your doing something like 9.75 - 8.5 just add a zero and you would get 9.75 - 8.50 = 1.25
