When we distinguish high-quality care homes and facilities, we are talking about the conditions of the said establishment in terms of safety, nurturing or stimulating environment and the factors to measure them are the following.

First, a staff with higher education with on-going training. This factor is important because they must understand the needs and the development of those who are in the home care and facilities. Next, teacher/child or patient/nurse turnover ratio would also matter so that they are given enough attention and care. Lastly, is the age appropriate activities, this will demonstrate an intent to provide high quality care and depict a greater chance of having a successful care experience in care homes and facilities.
