In a pedigree chart, a circle represents a female.
Dark filled means phenotype is expressed. In the case of a disease, the person has the disease.
Half-filled means the person is heterozygous for the gene in question.
Empty means the person does not carry the dominant allele.
So a completely filled circle is a female with the phenotype (often disease) expressed.
