Answer:

250 in2

Explanation:

L = 5 W = 8 (or the other way it wouldn't matter because you'll still get the same answer)

original with L=5 and W=8

p = 26 but we are focusing on the "area" (8 x 5) which is 40.

but with the scale factor of "2.5" to get 250 in2 you need to first, multiply "2.5" to both 8 and 5 your new L=12.5 and W=20. then to get your area of the enlarged picture multiply (12.5 x 20) and tah-dah! 250
