The correct answer to this open question is Fort Sill.

Originally called camp Wichita but renamed by general Sheridan is Fort Sill.

Fort Sill is located in Lawton, Oklahoma. It was General Philip H Sheridan who reused it in January 1869 when he and his men led entered Indian Territory to control ta raids that Indians had been organizing in territories that belonged to whites in Texas and Kansas.
