Correct answer is B.

Step-by-step explanation:
Occasionaly gas is shot from the surface of Sun. The reason for this is gravity-pressure instability. Most of this gas returns to the surface. Reason for this return are both magnetic field lines and gravitational pulling.

Answer A is description of a corona. It extends milions of kilometers in space and it can be seen only during solar eclipses. This is sort of Sun's atmosphere.

Answer C is description of a solar flare. It is huge explosion on the surface that sends out various types of radiation including visible light. This is similar to nuclear explosion on the Earth. On the picture this is marked with letter B.

Answer D is description of a sunspot. It occasionaly appears on the surface. The appearance follows 11 year min-max rule. It darker because it has lower temperature than the rest of surface, about 2000 degrees lower.
