They are equivalent, and some others could be 2/4, 3/6, 9/18, 7/14, 5/10, so on and so forth.

Hello!
So Bread (funny name) shaded 4/8 of a sheet of notebook paper and Aisha said he shaded 1/2, which is equivalent to 4/8.
Think about how Aisha came up with that equivalent fraction.
She divided the numerator and the denominator by 4.
4 ÷ 4 = 1
8 ÷ 4 = 2
Giving her 1/2
We can also multiply the numerator and the denominator by the same number to get an equivalent fraction.
Let's multiply the numerator and the denominator by 2.
4 × 2 ÷ 8
8 × 2 = 16
Giving us 8/16
ANSWER:
Another fraction equivalent to 4/8 is 8/16.
