Is the point (1,3) a solution to the linear equation 5x-9y=32?

To simply find this out, plug the point into the equation and see if the left side equals the right side. If yes, then it is a solution, If not, then the point is not found on the graph.

5x-9y=32

ive never learned this before, its just a hunch or guess.

plug in the coordinates in the equation, then solve, and check if both sides of equation is equal.

5(1)-9(3)=32
5-27=32
-22=32 X

i believe it is incorrect

however it would be unwise to listen to me as i am not that credible.

just a 13 yr old 7 grader trying to help a bro
