Rome was ruling the world two thousand years ago, but Rome couldn’t rule itself. It took two men to rule Rome and turn it into an empire. In the first century BC Rome was a republic. Senate had all the power elected by Roman citizens. Roma’s senators were fighting for power for themselves.
