2x ^ 2 = 4x-7
We rewrite the polynomial:
2x ^ 2-4x + 7 = 0
Applying the resolver we have:
x = (- b +/- root (b ^ 2-4ac)) / 2a
x = (- (- 4) +/- root ((- 4) ^ 2-4 (2) (7))) / 2 (2)
x = (- (- 4) +/- root (16-56)) / 2 (2)
x = (- (- 4) +/- root (-40)) / 4
x = (2 +/- root (-10)) / 2
x = (2 +/- root (10) * i) / 2
Answer:
x = (2 +/- root (10) * i) / 2
option 3
