Hi! Please find the equation of the line that is perpendicular to y = 2/3x - 1 and passing through (8, 10). Thanks!

The slope of the perpendicular line would be -3/2 as the slopes should multiply to equal -1.

Using point slope formula, (y-10)= -3/2(x-8)

y-10= (-3x/2) + 12
y= (-3x/2) + 22
