To find the y-intercept you have to covert -2x+5y=-10 into mx + b form. To do this you solve for y. For the first step, you add 2x to both sides. The 2nd step, you divide both sides by 5. The finial answer is y= 2/5x-2 which makes -2 your y-intercept since it intersects on the y axis. The answer is (0,-2)

-2x+5y=-10 can be rewritten as
y=2/5x-2
therefore the y intercept is (0,-2) because in the equation y=mx+b, b is the y intercept and -2= b in this equation.
