It depends. 1) could be like this, 'Many books have been written about the Civil Rights Movement, although it may be in different points of views there's one particular view that catches my attention.' or theres 2) 'The Civil Rights Movement benefited American of every race by creating new freedoms for the different races living in America.' Numbers 3 and 4 don't make much sense but I recommend using the 2nd one because a thesis statement is basically like an introduction of what you're writing about.
