The formula for the volume of a cube is V = lwh, where l is the length, w is the width and h is the height. The volume of our cube would then be V=3.5(3.5)(3.5)=42.875 ft.
The formula for the volume of a pyramid is V = 1/3lwh. For our pyramid it would be V=(1/3)(3.5)(3.5)(5)=20.417.
The total volume is found by adding these two figures together:
42.875+20.417=63.292≈63.3 ft after rounding to the nearest tenth.
