Well you would multiply the amount in each box by the amount of boxes.
So, 250•32=8,000
So, there are about 8,000 napkins that the restaurant bought

'About' means that the questioner is looking for an estimate, so we'll round each figure to the nearest 10, leaving us with ≈30 boxes of napkins with 250 napkins each. Now, it is as simple as multiplying 30 by 250 to get 7500!
