(# scored ÷ # shot) x 100= %
Mr. Laing:
=8/(8+12) x 100
= 8/20 x 100
= 0.40 x 100
= 40% accurate
Mr. Cho:
=7/(7+20) x 100
= 7/27 x 100
= 0.259 x 100
= 25.9% accurate
ANSWER: Mr. Laing was the better shooter with 40% accuracy.
