Number of students selected from University A:
f(x)=4x+5
Number of students selected from University B:
g(x)=2x+8
So total number of students selected from both universities:
h(x)= f(x)+g(x)
Put values
h(x)=4x+5+2x+8
h(x)=6x+13
Option D is correct.
