Two friends share 7 cookies equally. How many cookies does each friend get?

Please help, I'm pretty bad at math and have been stuck on this for god knows how long...

7 ÷ 2 = 3.5 3 Person Gets 1 cookie and a half while the other gets 3 cookie and a Half
