The 3 does not matter in this problem so this problem is a one step problem and very very easy. What you would need to do is multiply 48 by 22 since there are 22 acres and 48 trees on each acre so your answer should be 1,056 trees per acre.

Hey there! :D

He planted 48 trees per acre. Ignore the '3 types of trees' part. I think the question is trying to confuse you. Multiply 48 by 22.

48*22= 1056

The farmer has planted 1056 trees.

I hope this helps!
