So, we know the area formula of a parallelogram
Area = Base x Height
We have two values which are given;
Area = 100 m²
Height = 5 m
Now, we have to plug in the given values to find the missing, which in this case, is the base

100 = Base x 5
To find the value of base, we have to bring 5 to the other side, since it is multiplied, we do the reverse function, which is division.

(100)/(5) = (5(Base))/(5)
5 and 5 cancels out in the right hand side

20 = Base

The base is 20 m long
