Other senators may call for a cloture vote in such cases.
Cloture vote (also known as closure in the United Kingdom, or guillotine informally) is a type of a vote in the Parliament meant to end an endless debate quickly (instantaneously). Three fifths of Parliament members (60 out of 100) have to vote for a cloture to take be implemented.
